E Blessing - 09/27/2009

Here is our sweet little man, E. He was blessed yesterday by his daddy. He is such a cute little guy and so happy. Apparently, he was smiling at the bishop during part of the blessing. He is 12 1/2 weeks old!

He had a tiny clip-on tie that somehow got lost between church and home. I'm guessing it ended up on the floor of the chapel. Hopefully we will find it next week!

J felt bad about the missing tie and decided to give E one of his. Um ... it is a tad too large but cute anyway! :-) Love that smile!

I make this tie look GOOD!

For reference, this is P on his blessing day.

Well, duh!

Earlier this evening, P was asking J for some milk. He kept saying, "I want milk, I want milk, can I have milk?" I kept prompting him to say please but he wasn't complying. Anyway, he got right next to J and said, "I want milk." J said, trying to prompt P to say please, "How do you get milk?" to which P replied, "Go to the fridge!" We both burst out laughing because it was so very true. Needless to say, P got his milk. That boy makes us laugh! :-)

Last Sunday & Crafts

Here are a couple pictures from last Sunday.

What a handsome little man!

Brudders!
I didn't even realize that I had dressed them in kind of matching clothes. How cute, too bad P wouldn't quit wiggling and sticking his tongue out! :-)

Pretty good picture of P, minus the blurry arm!

So, I am VERY behind on my seasonal crafts. I made these Spring blocks back in the Spring. I had J cut the wood and had my awesome friend, Lindsay, cut me some letters. So I painted the blocks and put the letters on. My mom set me up with all this cute paper to embellish the blocks but I never got around to it. So, in August, she took them home and finished them for me. THANKS MOM! I love you!

Aren't they cute!!?? Now summer has come and gone and I never got around to making summer blocks. But, at least I have my Harvest and Winter blocks ready for their coming seasons!

Reading & E

I was trying to get E to smile but he wouldn't do it! The poor little man is on the tail end of a cold.

2 Months Old! -

Our baby E is 2 months old today! Where does the time go?

He was kind of sleepy when I took this shot and I couldn't get a smile out of him. He smiled himself out an hour or two earlier while I didn't have the camera. Of course! Darn it! ;-)

Here he is next to a DVD so you can get an idea of his size. Look at his right thigh! There is a wrinkle!!!! :-) SO CUTE!

Our Weekend at the Zoo -

On Saturday, J had to work on his Don Aslett project, so I took the boys to Idaho Falls to keep P out of J's way. My cousin, Jamie, just happened to be celebrating her sons 2nd birthday that day. So we kind of crashed the birthday party with Jamie, John, and their two boys; her sister (my other cousin) Jill and her husband, Levi; and my aunt and uncle (their parents) SuZette and Brian. Anyway, we went to Sizzler and enjoyed a meal with our most favorite, perky waitress. I forget her name but we ALWAYS seem to get her when we go there. She is very nice and very perky and happy! ;-)

Afterward we went to the Tautphaus Park Zoo and had some fun. Believe it or not, living in Idaho all of my life, I had never been. (My mom apologized profusely for being a "neglectful" mother. Whatever!!! You are an awesome mom!)

Here are some pics from the day:

Me trying to pose and P trying to climb on me. It was very uncomfortable and weird!

This is P riding the train at the little "amusement park."

Me "reenacting" the laying/hatching of E.

Peeking over the fence at some birds with Jamie.

How do I look?

P and Aunt Suzi looking for the otters.

Sleepy lion.

Levi and Jill in their nest. No chicks for them ... yet!

P is upset the that lazy otters are sleeping and not swimming!

Humongous turtle!!!

One of my chicks!

Aunt Suzi trying to get P to look the right way! She was very happy that he wanted something to do with her. Usually he won't give her the time of day at Great Grandma Gower's house but that day he did!

P brushing the goats. We were all VERY amazed that he entered the goat pen. He is extremely nervous of animals and bigger dogs so we were completely surprised.

Bryce (the birthday boy), Kyler, and P riding the Tiger.

Not a single picture of E was taken. Ooops! He was sitting contently in his stroller and smiled when he was prompted to. We had a great time! Thank you, Jamie, for letting us crash your birthday party. We had a blast!
