What A Surprise! -
We are in absolute shock! As you saw in the post below, P has started climbing out of his crib so we decided to transition him into his big boy bed. Last night was the first try. We really anticipated it to be a VERY long night of crying and running out of his room. When we put him in there he cried when we left, but that is normal. He usually cries for a minute or two when we put him to bed. Anyway, we sat there waiting for him to come out and he never did! He cried longer but he didn't get out of his bed. He ended up sleeping there the ENTIRE NIGHT! We were very surprised and grateful. Now, being the pessimist that I am, I'm wondering if it was just a fluke. I guess we will see.

Good luck! When we first Micah in his big boy bed...he stayed in it the first few nights, only because he didn't realize he could get out! hehe I know that's not encouraging...but usually the transition isn't too bad. We usually shut the door when they go to bed, or put a gate up so that they can't get out of their room. Have fun!
That is so funny, but you knew all along that he was a pretty smart kid. Man, I cannot believe how fast he is growing up. Hope everything is going great in Poky!

We haven't even transitioned Owen to his "little boy" bed (i.e. his crib). He's still sleeping with us - spoiled little boy! Here's hoping your good night wasn't just a fluke! Maybe your success will give me the motivation to actually get Owen into his crib. :)
