Happy Halloween!

We got very lucky and didn't have to buy any costumes this year! YAY! We tried P's dinosaur costume from last year and it still fit. He wanted to wear it and I was very happy to oblige. ;-)

P being pretty darn proud of himself. Such a silly face! I laugh every time I look at this picture!

Such a sweet kid! The best part of the costume is his sweet tail. He would totally swing his rear end towards people and hit them with his tail. He got quite the kick out of it.

J with E.
E wore the puppy costume we had. He's a mighty fine puppy if you ask me!

E was not in the mood to smile. He was upset because he wanted to walk around and not be held.

I wanted in on the Halloween action so I put my hair up in a Mohawk.
Man, it sure makes my forehead look huge!

Preschool Field Trip

P had his very first field trip last week. The class went to a local farm. The farmers had set up a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and a small haystack maze for toddlers. It was FREEZING that day with horrible wind. So, we bundled up tight and drove out there.

Here is P in the corn maze. The kids had fun running around while the mom's tried to answer the questions. We came to several crossroads where a question about farming was posted. Depending on the answer you chose, that was the direction you were supposed to take. Answer wrong and end up at a dead end. Answer correctly and you make it to the next question. The moms in my little group felt pretty stupid. We ended up at several dead ends.

Here is P posing with his little pumpkin. He wasn't happy to have his hands outside of his sleeves. Like I said, it was freezing and the wind chill made it even worse.

P is posing with his friend up in a tractor. The kids loved that they got to sit up in the tractor!

This was a different day but I just had to share. I must say that we have a pretty handsome man! ..... Two in fact! :-)

A Last Hurrah

It has been pretty cold around these parts the last couple of weeks. So, last week there was one gorgeous day so my mom and I decided to take advantage of it. P had been begging to see her so she came over to our neighborhood park on her lunch break and played with the kiddos. I love my mom so much and so do the boys!

Grammy and E were twirling on the merry-go-round

P l.o.v.e.s. to play at the playground and gets very excited!

CHEESE!
This toy gives me the heeby jeebies and I don't know why. Maybe it is because I'm claustrophobic or something. Maybe I'm afraid of ever doing jail time. Who knows.

The boys playing in a car. It is on a spring and rocks back and forth. E looks worried because P was getting it rocking pretty hard. E did NOT like that! :-)

E happy to have the car to himself! Such a sweet kiddo.

This is my attempt at being an artsy fartsy photographer. I just don't have the "eye" for it, I guess.

Well, I Never!!

Photo taken from Google Search
AAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I shall never ever ever ever change my blog address again. When I did so, I lost both of my blog lists. :-( Every single friend, family, and fun site that I had ever seen and added to my list. They were just gone. Ask J, I totally cried. I switched the address back to the old one and found the lists in tact. PHEW!!! So, I took upon myself the tedious task of copying e.v.e.r.y. s.i.n.g.l.e. link (There were 102 links by the way.) and making a list on a Word Document. Then I switched back to the new address and proceeded to rebuild my lists. Holy Crap, it took forever!

Anyway, enough wallowing in my own pity. We are back on track! :-)

I Changed The Blog Address

Testing Testing One Two Three!
I think it worked!
At least I think it did.
Will someone comment and let me know?!

Time For A Change

Photo taken from Google Image Search

So, me thinks it is time to change the blog address. I guess it seems pointless to have our names "coded" through out the blog if J and I's names are totally visible in our blog address. So, I am going to change the blog address on Sunday, October 24, 2010. It will be changing to jklind.blogspot.com .... unless someone steals that domain in the next few days. ;-) So, for those that are Followers, I don't think that will change anything for you. If you have a link to our blog on your blog, you'll need to change that. If you would please comment to let me know that you saw this and that you will be changing your link. Thanks everybody!

Question for ya

I was just reviewing my blogger stats and discovered that I'm getting a lot of viewers from the Ukraine. Anyone have a friend in the Ukraine that would be checking out my blog? If not, any suggestions on how to find out who they are? I'm a tad creeped out.

My Current Addictions

There aren't really any pictures to share today but I did have two from a couple weeks ago.
Somebody likes CORN ON THE COB!

Okay, now to the point of the post. I've decided to share with you some of my current addictions.

  1. Airing My Dirty Laundry, One Sock At A Time - I was blog stalking surfing and ran across this awesome blog. She had me at the first post. She has the most fun way of writing and captivating me in her stories. She is a stay-at-home mom and an aspiring writer. Her husband is currently deployed in Korea. Anyway, I don't know her at all personally but I feel as if I know her. We have many differences but we also have SO MANY things in common. I've been slowly reading backwards in time on her blog and am thoroughly enjoying it. Take some time and read it. She makes me laugh daily. (She does use some language on occasion, but who doesn't? I've been known to slip one out. ;-) )
  2. Facebook - I'm sure most of you already know that I'm addicted to Facebook. I love it! It has been a great way to keep in contact with friends and family. It has also been a great way to reconnect with old friends and old schoolmates. I love to peruse through Status Shuffle and find amusing things to share. I love to look at people's photo albums and share in the growth of their children. It is great.
  3. Top Chef - I LOVE to watch Top Chef. It is one of my favorite shows. If I find a marathon of Top Chef shows on, I must watch and will fill up the DVR space with it. I will watch it over and over ... which drives J and P crazy. Oh well, they watch Spongebob all the time, I deserve an addiction too! I am highly anticipating their newest season which will consist of past contestants for an All-Stars edition! :-D  I am pumped just thinking about it!
  4. I'm a little embarrassed to say but I am addicted to America's Next Top Model. Just as with Top Chef, I will drop everything if I see that a marathon is rolling. I love to see what type of photo shoot they will have and sometimes I even enjoy the dynamics between the contestants. Mostly they bother me with their cattiness but I still can't rip my eyes away.
  5. Diet Dr. Pepper - What more can I say?! Wake-me-up and yummy deliciousness packaged in a lovely can!

These are just a few of my addictions.
What do you find yourself addicted to?
