Three For Thursday!

Three wedding day memories:
1.  After the sealing, we were outside the temple getting pictures taken. J and I were quite a distance away from the photographer and the hoard of family behind her. I whispered to him that we were finally married and I could grab his butt. So I did. He was so embarrassed but I don't think anyone even saw it!

2.  J and I had never french kissed before our wedding. (It was a rule that I set to keep our hormones in check.)  We drove home from the temple alone. We took a "detour" on the way to the luncheon and made out in a parking lot. :-)

3.  We had so many people attend our reception that we had a constant line for over an hour. I was so tired of standing but it was so great to see so many awesome people!!  (I am an only child and my parents only got to celebrate a wedding once so all of their friends made sure to attend. It was great!)

Three guy movies I actually like:
1.  It isn't a movie but I love to watch UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) on Spike tv. I love that pretty much anything goes. Just don't hit below the belt (OUCH!) or grab on to the fence. That is pretty much the only rules I know of. Gotta love a good knockout!

2.  Some might consider The Lord of The Rings a "guy movies." I LURVE those movies!

3.  I like to watch the Rocky movies with J. That and Rambo. He has me well-versed in man movies.

Three things that I will try to sneak into heaven:
1.  Chocolate.

2.  Netflix

3.  Nice, comfy couch.

Three 4th of July traditions:
1.  Going to the parade

2.  Watching neighbors light their fireworks. We get the thrill and don't have to pay for it! ;-)

3.  We usually attend some kind of a dinner or BBQ.

Three words that describe me:
1.  Social Butterfly  - I love to go to activities and talk to people. I do like my alone time too though.

2.  At work, I'm CHEERFUL. I may not always feel that way but I always try to hide it. I hate when I have grumpy or rude cashiers so I try my best to remain cheerful.

3.  Lazy.  There! I said it. Yes, I'm lazy and I'd rather sit on the couch that exercise or do chores.

Three favorite summer time desserts:
1.  I always liked the "jello salad" with raspberries mixed in. You know the one with a container of cottage cheese, a container of whipped cream, and a box of dry jello mix stirred together. Easy and good.

2.  Is cheesecake a summer time dessert? I'll eat cheesecake whenever I can get some! YUM! Add some raspberries and I'll die and go to heaven.

3.  My mom's chocolate cake. She makes the cake and frosting from scratch and it is YUMMY!

Three fictional characters I would like to meet in real life:
1.  Aragorn  - (See Guy Movies above)

2.  The mom from The Work and The Glory series. It would be so hard to live in pioneer times. Ugh.

3.  Harry Potter.  :-)

Three group games that I could play over and over and over again:
1.  Human Foosball. You get a bunch of PVC pipes and line people up on them and play soccer. It is pretty fun.

2.  Ultimate Frisbee. I used to play that all the time in my singles ward days. When I'd get tired, I'd hang out near the end zone and cherry pick to get the goals .... and the glory! ;-)

3.  Capture the Flag.  There are two teams. Each has a designated territory that they are "safe" on. If they cross over the line, the other team can capture them and take them to "prison." The goal is to capture the opposing teams flag and get back to your own turf without getting caught or tagged. I remember playing this with my ward up in the mountains. I never knew my Bishop could run so fast or jump so high over sagebrush bushes! It was hilarious!

Three favorite summer time TV shows:
1. I'm not much of a summer tv watcher. I like the series that go on during the regular fall and spring times.

Three pictures:
My aunt and cousin came from Alaska to visit the first part of June. We went to their hotel and played in the pool. This was E's first time being in a pool.

P would not leave the stairs. He's not a fan of water but had fun splashing.

Silly boys playing with underwear on their heads. :-)

We Want To Know Wednesday

Welcome to We Want to Know Wednesday Q&A hosted by:

Photobucket

{1} What was the last thing you searched for online?
My friend needed a mutual friends new address. I couldn't find it so I looked it up on whitepages.com.

{2} If we visit your home state, what is one MUST we should do before leaving?
Hmmm .... I think I'd send you to Lava Hot Springs, ID. They have natural hot springs that you can sit in and soak. I believe there are three pools and each are at a different temperature. It is very relaxing! Then, you could hit the Olympic-sized swimming pool and ride the slides and jump off the platforms. I'd also suggest renting a life jacket and a tube and taking a float down the Portneuf River. There are some rapids so it is fun!

{3} What do you think pharmaceutical companies should invent a pill for that isn't on the market yet?
I'd have to a cancer antidote. It would work toward ALL cancers. Now, realistically, I know that won't happen but a girl can certainly hope!

{4} When was your first kiss? Was it good or bad?My first kiss was with J. Yep, he is the only boy that I've ever kissed! I didn't date much and was really shy so I never got to that point with anyone else. It was kind of weird. My friends had told me how guys get a "deer in the headlights" look in their eyes before they kiss you. I was sitting there with J and he totally got that look. I started to giggled and couldn't stop! He tried to wait for me to stop but I didn't stop. He finally just dove in for the kiss. Now, me being the non-kisser that I was, I didn't know what do to. All I had ever had was little "chicken pecks" on the lips. So I pursed my lips and J went for a more opened mouth kiss and managed to completely cover my lips with his. Oops! After the evening was coming to a close, I told him lets try it again and we got it much better that time! :-)

{5} What is your guilty pleasure tv show that you can not miss?
Right now, I am pretty much watching Prison Break on Netflix. (Yes, I'm still working on it!) I also can't miss an episode of Top Chef or any other variation of Top Chef! LOVE IT!

Friday Confessional

Photobucket

It's time for Friday confessions!

I CONFESS that I'm standing in the kitchen blogging while I make lunch for the boys.

I CONFESS that I am only boiling up some noodles because I don't want to do anything else.

I CONFESS that I am in charge of a family reunion tomorrow. EEEKK!

I CONFESS that it really isn't that bad but I haven't even purchased my portion of the food yet. :-/

I CONFESS that I am getting pretty excited to go lounge on the mountain lake beach and play in the water! I hope the water is warm enough! Our "spring" has been very cold. I hope we don't freeze tomorrow.

I CONFESS that I never have any juicy details to confess.

I CONFESS that I am pretty boring but I'm okay with that.

I CONFESS that I am still addicted to Prison Break on Netflix. I can't watch it fast enough!

I CONFESS that I hate watering my lawn, flowers, and garden. Yard work bores me.

I CONFESS I'd rather be blog hopping or playing on Facebook.

I CONFESS that I have to work on E's birthday. :-(  I didn't even think of requesting it off. Ooops. Oh well. We will party another day.

I hope that all of you will have a fantabulous weekend! Keep it real and be good! ;-)

We Want To Know Wednesday

Welcome to We Want to Know Wednesday Q&A hosted by:

Impulsive AddictJanetteMamarazzi and Seriously Shawn

{1} What is the best or worst pick up line you have ever been given?
I never really received any pick up lines. One of the most annoying ones I've heard of was: "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because you look like an angel."  I think that one is pretty lame.

{2} What is your most and least favorite day of the week?
My favorite day would probably be Sunday. I rarely work, I get to go to church, and I get to spend time with family!
My least favorite day .... I don't know. I guess Saturday IF I have to work. Otherwise I like it just fine.

{3} How many hours of sleep do you require each night?
I prefer to get 8 or more but that doesn't happen very often. I usually end up with 6 or 7. I get pretty tired if I only get 6. Lately, I've been getting 6 because I am addicted to Prison Break on Netflix. (This is why my link up is so late! I can't stop watching!)

{4} Is there a song that takes you back in time? What song is it & what's the memory attached?
It would have to be the song, I Just Called To Say I Love You by Stevie Wonder. It reminds me of first grade. My teacher loved this song. Each of our desks had name tags on them. She changed them every once in a while. For a time, we had little telephones. The hand piece was attached by a string. She'd play that song and sing. Whenever the chorus would come on, we'd pick up our "phones" and sing along. It was fun and it was one of my few memories of first grade!

{5} What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Probably watching reality shows. I love Top Chef, Top Chef Masters, America's Next Top Model, etc. Right now my guilty pleasure is watching Prison Break on Netflix. I'm seriously addicted and watch at least 2 episodes a night if I can. :-)

I'M HAPPY that I got to go to a family reunion for my maternal grandmother's family. I only found out about it yesterday. Luckily, I have the day off and was able to attend!

Three For Thursday!

I'm linking up with with Katy! Come join me!

Three things I accomplished this week
1.  I went to a meeting and got A LOT accomplished in planning Stake Girls Camp that is coming up.
2.  I made banana bread! I don't bake or cook much so that is definitely an accomplishment!
3.  I managed to make it to all of my shifts at work this week. I had two shifts last week and I missed both because of illness. YUCKY!

Three things I want to do this summer

1.  Get a tan. MOM, DON"T LAUGH! I don't tan much and it drives me crazy.
2.  Get through Girls Camp without any hitches.
3.  Get to the beach more than once. Not an ocean beach because I live in Idaho but there is a gorgeous, fun lake 2 hours from here. P loved it last year and begged to go back.

Three colors used at my wedding

1.  Periwinkle Blue
2.  Pale Yellow
3.  Those were the main colors that I had. I guess white because of my dress!

Three things I find repulsive

1.  Lady Gaga. Can. Not. Stand. That. Woman.
2.  Tweens dressing like sluts AND the fact that their parents let them out the door!
3.  The fact that MTV is kind of glorifying teen pregnancy with shows like 16 and Pregnant & Teen Mom. They do show some of the difficulties and struggles. However, I can still see some girl thinking, "Hey, there is a way I can become famous or get attention!"  Ugh.

Three things I like most about my body
1.  My tiny wimpy dainty wrists. They are seriously small but I like that they aren't abnormally huge!
2.  My hair color.
3.  My eyes. I think they are a pretty color.  (Can you tell I'm not really pleased with my body at the moment? I was having a hard time coming up with stuff!)

Three chores I make my husband do

1.  He is the toilet and bathtub scrubber. I can't stand it and get a gag reflex.
2.  I actually told him I would mow the lawn if he would do the dishes. That is how much I hate to do dishes!
3.  Most yard work goes to J. He likes that kind of stuff and I don't.

Three recipes

I've decided to add recipes that I would love to try and eat!
1.  White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
2.  Chicken Alfredo
3.  This is just something I want to do again.  Roast corn on the cob on hot coals/fire. YUM!

Three favorite flavors of ice cream

1.  Rocky Road
2.  Mint Chocolate Chip
3.  Cookies N Cream

Three animals I'd like to have (maybe not all at the same time)

1.  Miniature Schnauzer
2.  I'd like to get J a rabbit but I'm afraid it would turn into a hundred rabbits. He once dabbled in hamster breeding for our local pet store. We seriously had 7 fish tank cages FULL of hamsters. I DON'T want to do that again!
3.  A chinchilla. J wants one too!

Three pictures

These are three of my favorite shows growing up!

We Want to Know Wednesday

Welcome to We Want to Know Wednesday Q&A hosted by:

Impulsive AddictJanetteMamarazzi and Seriously Shawn

1} You have been asked to give a 10 minute speech to teenage girls. What is it about?
It would definitely be about self-worth and self-esteem. I remember how low mine was during my teen years. I'd love to be able to help girls with that. I would also talk to them and help them realize that life goes on beyond school. There is so much "friend drama" and I want them to realize that after high school is doesn't matter any more.

{2} Do you have a pet? Tell us about them. No pets? Why? (submitted by McKenzie)
I do not have a pet right now. Why? They are a lot of work and, since I work, I'm not home enough to give it the attention that it would need. I would love to have a dog, more specifically a miniature schnauzer, one day. My first dog was a mini schnauzer that I received for my 10th birthday. He was named Buddy and he was my buddy! He stayed with my parents when J and I got married because he was more attached to my mom. He died  when J and I had been married for about 5 months. My parents got another mini schnauzer named Jack. I consider him my pet too!

{3} What is the biggest inconvenience about the place you’re currently living?
We have an apartment in our basement that we rent out. The inconvenience is the extremely small kitchen. It is crazy how small it is. That makes it really hard to rent out. I like to rent out to small families but most don't want such a small kitchen. We end up renting to young college students who don't cook much. The bad part is there is high turn around.

{4} What do you think is the single best decision you have made in your life so far? (submitted by DateGirl)
To get married and have children. I love it!

{5} What are the THREE "nevers" of your life? (things you would never do or have never done)
I've made a personal decision to never drink alcohol. There is major alcoholism on both sides of my family tree and I would be predisposed to become an alcoholic. I don't want to even risk it.
I will never smoke. I was pretty close with my great-grandmother and she was a chain smoker. I watched her suffer with and die from emphysema. I have no desire to do that to my body.
I have never bungee jumped and probably never will. I don't think I could actually bring myself to jump. I'm afraid of heights. I usually end up loving things that I do that involve high adrenaline rushes but I just don't think I could make the plunge! :-)

Sensational Sensory Safari!

A sweet family in my ward has children that go to the same daycare as my boys. P and their son have bonded and become little buddies. We decided it was high time for a play date. She told me that our local library had an exhibit and we should go see it. So we went not knowing what we were going to see. When we got there, the library was FILLED with all sorts of animals. It was a "Sensory Safari" which meant that kids got to touch the taxidermy animals. At first I was weirded out but finally got comfortable enough. P was a little cautious at first and E didn't have a single problem with it! Here are some pictures:

P hangin' with the lions

Can you believe I got brave enough to take a picture of this yucky snake? I can't look at the picture for very long before I get squeamish. This was a close as I got to it. ICK!

Zebras!  P used to pronounce it "Bee-zras!" when he was smaller. It was so cute!

E took a break from the animals and found the fire truck!
CHEESE!

This was in the front entry way. Scared me to death!
A little graphic if you ask me but the kids loved it!

I couldn't help myself! I had to pick that water buffalo's nose!
Man, I need to learn how to make "attractive" faces!

We ran into another friend and her two kids. This is them (minus E) posing by the wart hog.

AHHHH! A LION!

When will I ever get a chance to have my picture taken with a zebra again?! NEVER!

Once I got over my initial fear of the croc/alligator (don't know the difference), I had to straddle that sucker!

E growling while I help the cheetah go in for the kill! ;-)

Cute Mr. P finally giving me a good smile!

The only "good" pic I could get of P and his buddy, C. :-)

Happy List

Photobucket

I'M HAPPY that I am feeling better. I got knocked on my butt with a flu bug on Thursday. I went to be Wednesday night feeling just fine. I woke up and OH BOY it wasn't pretty.

I'M HAPPY for an awesome sister-in-law who took my kids for the day so that I could puke and ... well .... you know ... by myself. Nothing like having an almost 2-year-old stand in the bathroom watching ya puke. :-/  Thank you, L!!

I'M HAPPY for an amazing mother who drove the kiddos to my sister-in-law's house! Not only did she take the kids but she washed my van and vacuumed it out too! She is always taking care of me like that and I really do appreciate it!

I'M HAPPY for a great hubby for going to pick up the kids by himself so that I could continue to recover.

I'M HAPPY for a wonderful friend and neighbor who ran to the store and got me Sprite and Tums! :-)

I AM ONE BLESSED WOMAN TO HAVE SUCH WONDERFUL PEOPLE AROUND ME!!

I'M HAPPY that my children were able to have fun this weekend. My sister-in-law lives in the boonies country and the kids got to run wild. P was quite nervous when she let the chickens out. He finally realized they weren't going to attack him and went on with playing. My boys and her kiddos got so dirty that all had to have baths and change clothes. Now THAT is what I remember about summer as a kid. Having a blast, getting dirty, running around, and being care free!

I'M HAPPY to be making some new bloggy friends! Thanks for your wonderful comments! I am so HAPPY when I get some COMMENT LOVE! :-)

What are you happy about? Click on the link above and join in the HAPPINESS!

Three for Thursday

Three favorite items of clothing
1.  Jeans
2.  Fitted t-shirts
3.  Tennis shoes.  Can you tell I'm a comfy gal and don't dress up much?! ;-)

Three things in my house that I wish were self-cleaning

1.  Bathroom!  Oh, I would totally love that!
2.  Kitchen.  I hate to do dishes with a passion. That would be nice.
3.  Kid bums. I'd love not to have to change diapers and or wipe bums!

Three favorite summertime lunches

1.  My mom makes a mean chicken salad that I just LOVE!
2.  She also makes another really yummy chicken salad with grapes and cashews. It is great!
3.  In the late summer, I love to have a tuna fish sandwich with corn on the cob and green beans sauteed with bacon. YUMMERS!

Three things my children say that they picked up from me

1.  Oh crap!  It doesn't bother me much but it bothers my mother-in-law.
2.  Darn it!  Hey, at least it isn't a different word! :-)
3.  Did you sleep good?  I think I must ask that every morning because P always says that to E. :-)

Three good movie recommendations

1.  If you haven't watched The Lord of The Rings trilogy, YOU MUST! I think they are awesome!
2.  Tangled. Even in a house full of boys, we love it! :-)
3.  The Karate Kid with Jayden Smith. We LOVE it! Now, J and I really love the originals but I really like this one. We watch it A LOT.

Three inexpensive date night ideas

1.  Going to the temple. You can also have dinner in the cafeteria in the temple near me. It is a reasonable price and tastes good.
2.  Go for a scenic drive. J and I used to take lots of drives up into the mountains. We would always try and find a great view of the valley and watch the sunset over the reservoir. We haven't done that much since we had kids.
3.  Take a picnic to a park or even in the backyard and just talk.

Three favorite flowers
Lilacs.  LOVE the smell!

Pansies.
I even had them on our wedding cake!

Petunias.

Three places I'd like to visit

1.  Alaska. It is so pretty (at least from the pictures I've seen) and I have family there.
2.  I'd love to visit New Zealand. It looks gorgeous and J has an old mission companion who lives there. Besides that, The Lord of The Rings was filmed there!
3.  England. J served his mission there and I'd love to see his old stomping grounds.

Three good habits that I practice
1.  We have family prayers with the boys every night. I'm glad that we made that a habit from when P was just a tiny baby.
2.  I had a bad habit of saying some swear words several years back and managed to stop. It is amazing how it can become a habit. So my good habit is not saying them! However, I am not perfect. One still slips out when I have anything scare me. :-/
3.  I make sure my kids are settle at the table with breakfast and dressed for the day before I hop on Facebook or blogs. Otherwise, they stay in jammies all day! ;-)

Three pictures

I think I'll share 3 of my favorite tv shows. Some have ended. :-(

Go on over to The House of Estrogen to play along!

We Want to Know Wednesday

Photobucket

Welcome to We Want to Know Wednesday Q&A hosted by:

Impulsive AddictJanetteMamarazzi and Seriously Shawn
This weeks questions come from Janette!

{1}Everyone seems to have a quirky family situation-- what is something unique about your family dynamic?
Whenever my family and I go to dinner at my parents house, it is a complete family reunion. I am an only child so that is kind of fun. We have "family reunions" on a regular basis! ;-)  I'm having a hard time of thinking of anything quirky. I guess most kids tend to run to MOMMY when they are hurt or sad but my kiddos run to DADDY. He seems to be more compassionate when it comes to that stuff. I'm usually say, "Well, you shouldn't have been acting like a maniac and you wouldn't have gotten hurt!" I don't know, sometimes I feel bad that they run to J over me.

{2}What is the most stressful aspect to blogging (aside from the network going down)?

For me, it is thinking of stuff to write about. My blog has mostly been a "scrapbook" to share pictures with family. I'm trying to branch out and try some new things.

{3}We all end up on a blog at some point in our day, but name your top 3 favorite websites you flock to daily (non blog)!

Facebook is an obvious one for me. I am an addict and I don't mind telling anyone.
Parent's Shoudn't Text and a lot of the other links at the top of its page. They make me laugh!
YouTube to watch the Shaytards. They do daily vlogs and I love to watch them!

{4}What’s your sign? Believe in it or not, does any part ring true to you?

I am a Gemini. I don't really believe in it. I used to read my horoscopes religiously in the newspaper when I was a teen. It never really seems to "come true" or work so I just stopped.

{5}IceCream!! ICECREAM!! We all scream for ice cream! Name your favorite flavor/brand!

If I am buying some from the grocery store, I usually just purchase the cheapest. I love Rocky Road, Cookies  n Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chip. If I am going to get ice cream, I have a favorite for each place I go. Coldstone Creamery -- I get chocolate ice cream with raspberries and almonds mixed in. Dairy Queen -- Oreo Blizzard.  Tastee Treat -- Hot fudge raspberry shake.  Arctice Circle -- Snickers shake with chocolate ice cream. Can you tell that I LURVE ice cream?!

 BONUS QUESTIONS
A. Name the blog you credit for linking up with us today?

Mamarazzi at *Dandelion Wishes*

B. Suggest a question you want to see in future WWTK’s

When you were a young child or teenager, did you have an idea of how many children you wanted and what their names would be? Did you follow through on your ideas?

2.  For the Show & Tell portion: Share your favorite organization tip...show us!

Sheesh! I say, "Um" a lot! Sorry about that!  Oh, and ignore the incomplete "credits" at the end. I'm still learning how to make these! ;-)

Holy Parking Spot, Batman!

Make sure to turn up your sound. It kind of goes quiet in the middle of the video.

Happy List

I am one HAPPY WOMAN today! I had the most wonderful opportunity to be able to attend Time Out for Women this weekend! I didn't have a ticket and wasn't planning on going. A sweet lady in my ward, who is my good friend's mother, had an extra ticket and gave it to me. So I attended with her. It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.! Now, I've attended one other time before, but I had forgotten just how good it can be.

It is basically a chance for women to take a "time out" and have some time to mingle with friends and listen to amazing speakers. They also have some awesome musical talent come and perform. It was such an awesome weekend! One of my favorite presenters was Jenny Oaks Baker. She is an amazing violinist! Check out THIS video when you get a chance. She's awesome!

I'm HAPPY that our back yard is almost done! I'll post pictures when it is!

I'm HAPPY that it was a warm, beautiful day today! It really is amazing what sun and warmth can do for you!

I'm HAPPY that my cousin and aunt are coming down from Alaska to visit in a week! I love those ladies and can't wait to give them a humongous hug!

Three for Thursday

Three of my favorite Pandora.com stations
How bad am I that I haven't listened to Pandora? I usually hear a song that I like on the radio and then put it on my iPod. So, I'll just give you some general styles of music that I like.
1.  I like Linkin Park. I enjoy the stuff they are doing now but I also enjoyed their "harder, screaming" stuff too!
2.  I'll admit that I kind of like the Pop stuff that you hear all the time on the radio. That is all they play at work so that is all I hear!
3.  I really love to listen to Singers/Song Writers like Christina Perri. I love to hear someone singing along to a piano. Sometimes songs just get too techno and I like the acoustic stuff.

Three lessons learned since I have graduated from high school
1.  As long as it took, I've finally realized that it doesn't really matter what people think of me. I dwelt on it a lot and still do at times. I've finally started to be comfortable in my own skin.
2.  Cliques or social groups really don't go beyond high school and I am grateful for that! I've managed to become friends with the then "popular" people from high school. It is nice to be able to put that high school cattiness behind me.
3.  I learned that I really could be a mom. I wanted to be a mom but was terrified to actually become one. I was an only child and wasn't around little children much. I wasn't very comfortable and had a hard time relating to kids. It was amazing how quickly that subsided. I managed to start acting like a blubbering idiot within hours of P being born! Now, I do it to any little one that comes through my check out line at work!

Three people I was remembering on Memorial Day

1. My Maternal Grandfather. He is still living and is a big part in my life. I love that man and I appreciate the wonderful person that he is. He served our country and I am very grateful for that.
2.  I took time to think about and appreciate my other grandparents and great grandparents who have passed. My parents made sure to have them be a big part of my life. For that I am grateful.
3.  I had my husband's grandmother in my mind. She just passed a couple months ago and it was pretty hard on him. They were very close as he grew up. She was a wonderful, sweet lady!

Three favorite YouTube videos

1.  My first is actually a Channel on YouTube. It is the Shaytards. They are a family who lives in my hometown who do daily vlogs. They've done one every day for two years and counting. I think they are fun to watch and I enjoy it.
2.  I really enjoy watching Flash Mobs. I just posted a link to a search query of several flash mob videos. One day, I'd love to be in a flash mob!
3.  I saw THIS video the other day and it made me happy. I'm glad there is still some good sportsmanship around!

Three bad habits
1.  I bite my fingernails.
2.  I'm a picker. I've got to get the boogers out of my kids nose. I've got to get the toe jam out of between their toes. I also have to get the wax out of their ears. I don't know why but I just have to do it!
3.  Laying in bed, when I should be getting up and getting ready, and checking my email or browsing Facebook. I end up laying there for longer that I wanted and then have to rush to get me and the kids ready.

Three foods I will NEVER put in my mouth

(For some reason, I'm having a hard time thinking of things! I don't like a lot of foods but can't think of them!!)
1.  Crickets or any bug for that matter. Blech!
2.  A tomato. I can handle the sauce in moderation. For some reason, I just don't like the taste or the acidity.
3.  Dog or cat. I know it may be a delicacy in some parts of the world but I refuse to eat a pet!

Three things that sounded like a good idea at the time

1.  Doing full-time summer school in college AND hanging out with friends until 1:00 AM every night AND work. I don't how I managed to function but I did. I wouldn't trade it for a second because I loved those friends that I "played" with!
2.  Planting a garden. Now I keep forgetting to water it! I sure hope we have something grow!
3.  The remodeling of our family room a few years ago. We are certainly not rolling in the $dough$ so it took quite a while. We would buy supplies when we had some cash. The remodel project took over a year to complete. I HATE living in a construction zone. The only reason it finally got done was because I insisted that it be complete before E was born. I didn't want tiny baby lungs breathing in construction dust!

Three plans for Father’s Day 2011

1.  Thank my hubby for being such a great daddy and get him a little something.
2.  Thank my daddy and J's dad for being such awesome men. We have been truly blessed.
3.  I'll go to church and probably spend the day with family.

Three things that make me a “mean mom” (aka a GOOD mom)

1.  I don't let my kids treat me like crap. They may end up in timeout a lot but I don't care. They will learn respect. That is definitely lacking in our society anymore.
2.  I don't let my kids watch whatever they want. Sure, we watch too much plenty of TV but I don't let them watch scary/gross/naughty stuff.
3.  I don't let me kids eat a lot of crap. Sure, they get plenty but I make sure they eat their dinner too!

Three pictures
E on his first birthday! He loved his cake and was/is so stinkin' cute!

P on his first birthday. Man, he got messy! He's getting yummy Diet Coke!

A pretty flower I saw while hiking in the Grand Tetons last year.
