Reminiscing

I've been thinking that E has pictures of him on this blog from a tiny rice seed ultrasound pic to current and that P doesn't. I want to turn this into a book eventually and I don't want P to feel left out. So, I think I'm going to share a few of his young baby pictures and memories.

When P was just a month or two, he slept like this a lot. We always got a kick out of it!

Getting burped after eating. He is only 3 days old in this picture! We were still trying to breastfeed at this point. I gave up a few days later because he wasn't getting anything, I was completely engorged, and I was suffering from postpartum. Anyway, we decided that I need to simplify and take away any unnecessary stress.

Peek-a-boo! I love this little man! He was content for quite a while to just hang out in the basket while we cleaned his room! :-)

I'm pretty sure he is about a week old in this picture. Sweet tiny guy. Amazing how quickly they grow.

Just barely a year old in this picture. This is after I came home from Girl's Camp. I remember seeing him (after being gone for 3 days) and just started bawling. It seemed like he'd grown a foot! Not really, but I think you all know exactly what I mean and feel.

A very happy and satisfied face after getting to drink his very first bottle. He'd been starving because mom's milk machine wasn't working the way we wanted it to. He was only a week old but he totally smiled. He finished the bottle, belched an enormous burp, completely filled his diaper with poop, and gave this big smile. It was cute!

This is Christmas Day 2006. I never realized just how chubby of a baby he was until later after he had thinned down. WOW! Gotta love those cheeks! :-)

J and I found this hat and loved it! We called it his Elmer Fudd hat and we made him wear it A LOT. Another favorite thing about this picture is his chubby arms and rubber-band wrists!

Check out this SWEET Mohawk after his bath!

Cute chubbers having a bath. This kid has always loved bath time and splashing away.

Best Buds

These two are inseparable. (Sometimes to daddy's dismay because he just wants to sit and relax.) They play together, they mow the lawn together, they do other yard work together, they snack together, they watch cartoons together, etc. I love these two guys so much. I know that E is just itching to join in on the fun. Once he gets mobile, look out you two, double the fun! :-)

Oh How P Has Grown

I have nothing to really blog about so I was trying to figure out something to do. I started looking at the past several years of pictures and it just amazes me how much P has grown up. He isn't my baby anymore! :'-( *Sniff*

Here is our cute little stinker at about 4 months or so.
(November-ish 2006) Such a sweet face.

Sweet guy loving some food. Note the piece of cheerio on his chin. :-)

Hanging out in the window watching the squirrels. OOOOHH!
(March 2008)

Lounging in the laundry basket with his doodle pad. Such a funny guy!
(March 2009)

Silly guy put a toy on his ear. I'm amazed at the difference between now and last year. My little boy, my toddler, is no longer. He's a big boy!

E is 9 Months Old!

E turned 9 months yesterday. I can't believe how fast time has flown! During the afternoon he crapped out on my shoulder and took a good nap. Before I put him in his crib, I had J take a couple pictures.

He isn't my little baby anymore! He's getting so big!

Precious, peaceful face! We love this boy so much!

In the evening, I gave him a bath and he was being so stinkin' cute and funny that I had J take a couple more photos for his 9 month blog post!

Handsome fella!

Wrap Up Of The Last Couple Weeks

The past couple of weeks have been eventful. As I posted earlier, we ended up having to get a new furnace and re-venting the water heater. That got all completed and things went smoothly for about a week. Then the toilet got clogged. That is nothing new, our toilet clogs really easily and we just have to plunge it. Anyway, J tried and tried to plunge it and it wasn't working. Water actually started coming up into the bathtub. We knew that couldn't be good! So, we called in Roto Rooter and discovered that we needed a new toilet. So, we've managed to do a lot of unplanned upgrades to the house this past month. Anyway, things are working well and we hope they continue to work well! :-)

Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks:

We LOVE bath time!!

Happy Man loves to splash!

Cute brudders playing together. I peeked in the room and saw them playing there together and just had to get a picture!

Uncle J and the grandsons doing dishes at Grandma Sugar's house.

E got his first hair cut by my aunt Suzy. He had pretty wild and flighty hair in the back so we had her shape it up a bit. He did amazingly well for his first haircut.
