Reminiscing

I've been thinking that E has pictures of him on this blog from a tiny rice seed ultrasound pic to current and that P doesn't. I want to turn this into a book eventually and I don't want P to feel left out. So, I think I'm going to share a few of his young baby pictures and memories.

When P was just a month or two, he slept like this a lot. We always got a kick out of it!

Getting burped after eating. He is only 3 days old in this picture! We were still trying to breastfeed at this point. I gave up a few days later because he wasn't getting anything, I was completely engorged, and I was suffering from postpartum. Anyway, we decided that I need to simplify and take away any unnecessary stress.

Peek-a-boo! I love this little man! He was content for quite a while to just hang out in the basket while we cleaned his room! :-)

I'm pretty sure he is about a week old in this picture. Sweet tiny guy. Amazing how quickly they grow.

Just barely a year old in this picture. This is after I came home from Girl's Camp. I remember seeing him (after being gone for 3 days) and just started bawling. It seemed like he'd grown a foot! Not really, but I think you all know exactly what I mean and feel.

A very happy and satisfied face after getting to drink his very first bottle. He'd been starving because mom's milk machine wasn't working the way we wanted it to. He was only a week old but he totally smiled. He finished the bottle, belched an enormous burp, completely filled his diaper with poop, and gave this big smile. It was cute!

This is Christmas Day 2006. I never realized just how chubby of a baby he was until later after he had thinned down. WOW! Gotta love those cheeks! :-)

J and I found this hat and loved it! We called it his Elmer Fudd hat and we made him wear it A LOT. Another favorite thing about this picture is his chubby arms and rubber-band wrists!

Check out this SWEET Mohawk after his bath!

Cute chubbers having a bath. This kid has always loved bath time and splashing away.
