New Jammies -

Sometimes when I get done with work, P has already gone down for his nap at the babysitters. When that is the case, I sometimes go to the mall and visit my mom at her store. I hate going home and then having to leave again to go get him so I usually try to kill some time at the store chatting with her and her coworkers. I decided to wander Sears for a bit and discovered some cute Cars pajamas on clearance. Two pairs for $6.35!!!! Awesome! P loves them. He discovered them in the sack around 4:00 this afternoon and insisted on getting into his jammies. Anyway, I think they are cute and he is even cuter. Here is a picture.

I believe he is watching The Incredible's.
I just love how he sucks/bites on his bottom lip. I used to do that ... well actually I still do!

Sexy Tie -

For our New Beginnings program in Young Women, we did a news broadcast theme. I volunteered to be one of the news anchors and decided I should wear a tie. Luckily, my mom gave me this white maternity shirt when I was pregnant with P so I didn't have to wear one of J's shirts. Anyway, Sister Ward, who was my co-anchor, wore a sage green shirt so we could match. The girls thought we were so nerdy and silly but I really enjoyed it. Here are a couple pictures that I made J take of me.

Pardon the drywall and mud in the background. We're in the process of remodeling our family room.

J took a full shot to get a picture of my belly.
(FYI - I did wear a skirt so I wasn't technically cross dressing at a church function!)

Going To Work -

The other day, P grabbed one of my old purses and said he was heading off to work. So, he got onto his 4-wheeler thing and got ready for work. Too stinkin' cute!

Here he is getting ready to drive. I love my silly boy!

Our Valentine Gift -

Holy cow! We got a flat screen! I've been wanting one for a long time but I never thought we'd do it. We were at Fred Meyer on Saturday and I was in the electronics section looking for a FM transmitter for my iPod. Anyway, J discovered this TV and it was an amazing deal. Kind of an impulsive buy but we are excited. We've already watched a few Pixar movies (thank you P .... sigh .... I hate that I'm getting tired of those movies!) and the clarity is amazing!

Our Sunday & A Belly Pic -

We ended up staying home from church today because P has a runny nose and a cough. Nothing bothers me more than people who bring their sick kids into nursery and I didn't want to do that. With P being sick and coughing, he hasn't been sleeping very well. Also, he has been refusing to take naps lately (GRRRRR!) which drives me crazy because he still needs them and then he acts like a stinker the rest of the day. Anyway, we went to my parents house for dinner this evening. Afterward, P settled in with Grampy to watch some Shish (Finding Nemo) and fell asleep. Here is a cute pic of it:

This pic is us struggling to get his coat on. Silly boy. We got home and he had kind of woken up and didn't want to go to bed. So then we had to go through the trauma of "being mean" and put him to bed. Luckily, he went down fairly quickly.
And now, what you've all been waiting for! ;-) Here is my pregnant belly progress shot:

Valentine's Date -

We had our Valentine's Day date on the 13th. My sweet mom said she would watch P and have a sleepover. He sure loves his Grammy and was very excited to spend time with her.
As for our date, we actually did a double date. We got together with our friends, Matt & Lindsay, and had pizza with all the kiddos. Then we dropped P off with Grammy and headed to our ward's Valentine's dance. After the dance we went back to the Walker's house and played their Wii. We had a lot of fun playing Mario Kart and a war game. Lindsay has been talking about this war game for a little while and I wanted to try it out. It was pretty fun getting to run around (not literally!) and shoot guns. Sadly enough, the best part of our date was getting to sleep in the next morning. Usually P gets us up around 6:30 so we were very spoiled because we got to sleep in until 9:00!
Meanwhile, P got to watch Peter Pan with Grammy and then just went to bed. She sent me a couple of pictures from their time together.

Snuggling in and getting ready for the movie.

Having breakfast.

BABY BOY! -

It's official! P is going to have a little brother and we are very excited. I honestly didn't care what this baby was but I am really excited for P to get a little buddy. However, I do realize that I am really at a disadvantage in this house ... estrogen-wise! ;-) Also, I've heard many of the harrowing stories of J and his brother and their shenanigans and it makes me a little nervous.

Here is our little mans arms. He was trying SO HARD to suck on his thumb during the entire ultrasound and finally succeeded toward the end!

Man parts ... nuff said.

The Ultrasound Has Been Scheduled! -

I will finally get my ultrasound on Monday, February 9th! I have been really anticipating this one because I having no sure feeling about the sex of this baby. I knew that P was a boy so the wait wasn't quite to difficult. Anyway, I'll be updating on Monday evening when we know the news. Pray the baby isn't shy! (My poor friend Kym had to have, like, 4 ultrasounds before they discovered the sex of their baby!)

Super Bowl Sunday -

J and I aren't really into sports but we went to my parents house for dinner on Sunday. When the game started my dad and my Grandpa Gower went into the family room to watch. My dad has a little stool next to the couch where he usually keeps his mug of Diet Coke. When P comes over, he usually likes to sit on the stool and steal sips of my dad's Diet Coke. We thought it was so cute because usually he just picks up the mug but he didn't do it this time.
In between sips of Diet Coke, he was running around like crazy. He loves to try and scare people and started acting like a dinosaur or something. Here he is growling at me, Great Grandma Gower, and Great Granny Teeples.

Pictures From January 18th -

When I was pregnant with P, my mom and I took belly progress shots every month. I wanted to make sure this baby doesn't feel left out so I'll be doing it again.
Baby belly as of January 18th

P with his Great Grandma. He rarely wants to be held by anyone so we had to get a shot of this. By the time we found the camera, P was wanting down so this is the best shot that we got. Great Grandma was very happy for him to want her!

We have the most handsome boy ever!!!! Oooh, we love him!

It's Killing Me!

Okay. I just put a poll to the right to see what people thought (or wished) we were having. But, it doesn't tell me who voted what and I guess I want to know. So, put your vote in the comments too!
